No tracking, no adtech, no consent banner — because there is nothing to consent to.

TL;DR
We don’t run Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, Hotjar, LinkedIn Insight, or any advertising / retargeting pixel. We don’t set third-party cookies. The only items Watt2Buy writes to your browser are two strictly-necessary first-party items, listed below. This is why you don’t see a cookie banner — there is nothing to consent to.
First-party items we store

These items are not shared with any third party. They contain no personal identifier, no IP address, no device fingerprint.

We do not load:
- Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Firebase, AdSense, DoubleClick, Google Ads remarketing
- Meta / Facebook Pixel, Meta Conversions API, Instagram tracking
- LinkedIn Insight Tag, Twitter/X Ads Pixel, TikTok Pixel
- Hotjar, Mixpanel, Amplitude, Segment, Fullstory, Clarity
- Crisp, Intercom, Drift or any third-party chat widget
- Any ad network, data broker, or cross-device identity graph
What about images from Wikimedia?
Vehicle images are loaded directly from upload.wikimedia.org. Wikimedia Foundation may log your IP address briefly for their own operational needs per their Privacy Policy. They do not set cookies on the watt2buy.org domain and do not track you for advertising.
How to clear what we store
- Chrome / Edge: Settings → Privacy & Security → Site settings → Cookies and site data → See all site data → search “watt2buy” → Delete.
- Firefox: Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data → Manage Data → search “watt2buy” → Remove.
- Safari iOS: Settings → Safari → Advanced → Website Data → search “watt2buy” → Delete.
Clearing these items will reset your remembered city and driving profile — you will just need to pick them again. Nothing else is affected.
Changes
If we ever add a new cookie-like item we will update this page before the item goes live and flag it with a banner on the homepage. See our Privacy Policy for the broader data picture.
